Company Picnics

Bring Your Team Together,
One Bite at a Time

Food Truck Catering and Full-Service Support for Company Picnics

Company picnics are about more than just food — they're about connection, relaxation, and building memories outside the office. But planning a picnic that truly brings people together takes more coordination than it looks. The Food Truck Hub handles the logistics so you can focus on the experience.

Picture your team spread out across a park lawn: the smell of fresh food drifting from the trucks, colleagues actually laughing together away from their desks, families enjoying the afternoon. That's the version of a company picnic people still talk about in November. We make that the version you get.

Why Food Trucks Work So Well for Picnics

Traditional catering at outdoor events means long buffet lines, lukewarm food, and two protein options for everyone. Food trucks flip that. Each truck runs as its own live kitchen, so food comes out fresh throughout the event — not just at the noon rush. Guests browse, make their own choices, and come back for more. It feels less like a work lunch and more like a Saturday at a street festival.

Our food truck catering roster covers everything from tacos and BBQ to wood-fired pizza and Asian street food. We can bring in one signature truck for a more intimate event or build a full multi-truck lineup to give a larger crowd real variety.

Right-Sized for Your Headcount

Food Truck Hub events scale across a wide range of group sizes. Small teams of around 50 typically do well with one or two focused trucks and a tighter menu. Mid-size events of 150–300 guests open up room for variety — two to three trucks with distinct cuisines keeps lines short and energy high. For 300 to 500+ attendees, we coordinate a full lineup alongside bar and beverage service, on-site event staffing, and rentals like tents and seating to keep everything running smoothly.

Outdoor Venue Coordination

We work with parks, corporate campuses, open parking lots, and private outdoor spaces across Chicago and our partner markets. Our team reviews truck access routes, power requirements, and shade coverage before your event — so there are no surprises on the day. You tell us the venue; we'll tell you what we need. Add inflatables and lawn games to round out the afternoon, or bring in live entertainment to keep the energy up between servings.
