Graduation Parties

Class of 2026? We'd Love To Join The Party!

Graduation Party Catering and Venues

The cap toss takes a second. The party is what everyone remembers. The Food Truck Hub books graduation party catering in Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Orlando, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Minneapolis–St. Paul, San Antonio, and St. Louis: the trucks, the bar, the lawn games and, when the backyard won't cut it, the venue. One coordinator, one contract, and a truck parked outside so your kitchen stays clean.

Why a Food Truck Fits a Graduation Party

Graduation parties run like open houses. Guests arrive in waves, grandparents come early, the grad's friends come late, and everyone expects to eat. A food truck is built for that.

It keeps up with the crowd. A truck serves about 100 guests an hour, depending on the menu. At 150 guests we add a second truck so the line stays short and nobody spends the party waiting.

It cooks on your schedule. Food service runs a standard two hours, and can stretch longer when the truck's calendar allows. Every order is made at the truck window, so the last guest gets the same hot plate as the first.

Teenagers and grandparents both eat. A menu with tacos or pizza feeds the grad's friends; a vegetarian option and a dessert truck cover everyone else. Your coordinator helps you pick trucks that fit the guest list, not just the grad.

No cooking, no messy kitchen. The partner crew handles setup to cleanup. No trays to rent, no chafing dishes, no hours in a hot kitchen the morning of the party.

You pick the food and the feel. We handle everything behind it.

Send the details. Tell us the date, the address, a rough headcount and the party hours. We send options and a quote within one to three days, depending on how much the party involves.

Pick your trucks. Your coordinator suggests trucks and menus that fit the crowd, flags dietary needs, and suggests add-ons like a dessert truck or a bar for the adults.

Confirm the plan. One contract covers every truck and service. Before the date, we confirm what the site needs: power, water, clearance for the truck to pull in, and where it loads in.

Party day. The truck arrives, sets up, serves through the service window and packs out. You host.

Graduation party venues and places that work with food trucks

Most graduation parties still happen at home, and a truck fits most driveways, curbs and side yards. When the guest list outgrows the house, we help you find a place that does fit.

Backyards and driveways. Needs a flat spot the truck can pull into and out of, and clearance from low branches and wires. Check HOA and street-parking rules before you book.

Parks and pavilions. Great for big families and big guest lists. Ask the park district early whether food vendors need a permit at your shelter or pavilion. We'll help you check.

Event venues. For indoor space, air conditioning or a rain plan, browse our venue partners. The venue confirms capacity; we confirm the truck can get in.

Need a space? Browse our event venue partners, then run your shortlist through the checklist below.

Site checklist before you book any graduation party place

  • Does the venue allow outside caterers and food trucks?

  • Is there about 30–40 feet of street, driveway or lot where a truck can park and serve?

  • Is power and water available, or does the truck need to bring its own?

  • Where does trash go? Most venues let our partners use their dumpster; at other sites, hauling can add a small cost.

  • Is there parking for guests, separate from where the truck parks?

Dietary Accommodations

Our network of food truck partners has experience handling a wide range of requirements, and we build this into your menu planning from the start. Common accommodations we coordinate include:

  • Vegetarian and vegan options

  • Gluten-free and gluten-aware preparation

  • Nut-free and top-allergen-aware service

  • Halal and kosher options (vendor-dependent; let us know early so we can confirm availability in your area)

  • Dedicated dietary menus for guests with multiple restrictions

When you request a quote, let us know your guests' needs and we will confirm which trucks and menu items can accommodate them before anything is booked.

What a host told us after her daughter's party

From start to finish, working with Food Truck Hub was an absolute pleasure. I submitted an online inquiry and heard back almost immediately with a range of options — impressive, especially given how last-minute my request was. They came through without missing a beat.

The food from D&D Shack was absolutely delicious, and the truck staff were so warm, friendly, and fun — they really added to the atmosphere of the event. We hired Food Truck Hub for my daughter's high school graduation party, and it was a massive hit. The kids kept coming back for more, and having the truck outside meant no cooking, no messy kitchen, and no stress for me!

The entire experience — from the responsive and helpful office team to the fantastic crew on-site — was seamless and memorable. The food truck added such a fun, festive element to the celebration that our guests are still talking about it. I cannot recommend Food Truck Hub (and D&D Shack!) enough. We will absolutely be using them again.
